I received the first shipment of custom rods that Franks Custom Rod Co. is building for me. Frank has outdone himself with these! They are beautiful, and his craftsmanship is superior.

Sorry if this comes across as a shameless self promotion, but I AM CRANKED!!!!! See you all in Milwaukee.

Those look awesome, I've never met frank but I've fished his rods and they are great, and I've heard good things about him also.

All the muskie rods I build are on Diamondback blanks. The MRG rods will have Fuji gunsmoke SIC guides & tip top and all are underwrapped (a layer of thread under the guide feet) to protect the blank. The handle is made up of a 15-inch rear grip, Fuji deluxe reel seat and a 5-inch foregrip with burl cork accents (the dark rings in the picture above). The cork is 1 1/4 inch diameter.

Mike & I came up with 5 models that he will be selling:

6'10" Jerkbait
7'0" X-heavy
7'3" Medium
7'6" Heavy
8'0" Heavy

Hope to see some of you at the Milwaukee show. I am going to try to get up there on Friday with my son.

Frank
