Location: Waterford & Boulder Junction | Chuck is alive and well.
He's busy guiding and running his business, Stillwaters in Star Lake. He ran into alot of internet bashing on the sites, so he decided to abstain from participating!

10-4 Steve. Yeah, he was nice to have around back when we were all at muskie central. Always offering to help out in the pro perspectives. I fished with this gentleman about a week after 9-11-01 and I am here to tell ya that he's the real deal. No B.S, whatsoever. I doubt anyone will find a more down to earth guy to fish with.
I knew he's been at Stillwaters for a couple years now. Even visited with him at the bar. I just thought that the man deserved some attention, and I was willin' to bring it up!
Here's to you Chuck, bottoms up!! |

Location: oswego, il | Yes it was good to have his expertise here. He would even share good info if you just e-mailed him. Like every other big name person, just got tired of taking a lead pipe to the knee. Petty jealosy sucks. |

Last summer I was dead in the water on a remote lake, with a blown fuse and no replacement. He spent 20 minutes with his guide clients waiting in his boat until he was sure we had jerryrigged a fix for the problem. Rube Goldberg type of fix, but it worked. I thought his selflessness was incredible. Would not take anything for his time and assistance.
Kind of a "pay it forward" type of deal for me I guess. Will look to do the same for someone else one day!

Location: Slinger Wisconsin | I stop at his place for a burger everytime I fish Ballard. He has great food at reasonable prices. It's fun to watch the Deer come into his feeder also. |
