I was just wondering if anybody owned a trollmaster. Does it keep your speed at a given setting like it claims-- Please give me any input-- Thanks--Todd Kotarski

Yes, they are a great trolling device, dial in the speed and go...I have found that they are more important for walleye fishing than musky fishing tho....

I have been using the Trollmaster Pro for 4 years. It has worked really well. I will buy another if this one ever dies. A must have for us trollers...

I think this is a great piece of equipment. I have the Trollmaster pro and will get another if mines evr dies too.
The speed stays very consistent and with the pro model you can put it in the idle position when fighting a fish so the speed is reduced. Put is back to run and you are back at your set speed.

Great addition to my boat last year. As CT said, you can put it in idle when fighting a fish. But when you get that strike, on the Pro model, you can also hit a button, and momentarily go WOT to help set that hook. I'll also bump it to give a little burst, perhaps triggering a strike, or when I need to make a qucker turn in wind and waves. The Trollmaster is also safer, and easier on the old back. I don't have to lean over in big waves to adjust the speed anymore.

I have to go along with everyone on this one.

I love that little box.

Now I can troll while talking on the phone, drinking something, talking on the radio, and still have full control over the speed. Way to cool.

Best money I have spent on the boat and my back........

Buy one today, you will not be sorry. Great addition and awsome boat control.
