Location: Black Creek, WI | The 10 Inch Jake is one of my favorite lures. Great for casting and trolling. With the introduction of the new 14 Inch Jake, I can't help but wonder if this lure will be limited to trolling ONLY.
Has anyone seen these in the water yet? How do they compare to the 10 incher? And... more importantly... is it even feasible to cast this giant lure?
Kinda pricey to just buy one and see for myself.
Thanks.

Seriously though, I'm curious about it too. |

| You will not be casting it very long, plus that long of a bait leaderhooks alot! I feel that will be a primary trolling bait! I have tried the 13" granny to not much good and make my own 14"-16" trollers, no casting there! |

| Late Fall Trolling lure only like the 13 inch Grandma...I tend to cast big lures, so try it if you like. Just not 24/7 mind you! |

Location: Germantown, WI | i thought about how i would use it, and for me personally, would probably be a trolling bait.
I also noticed the price and still scratching my head at how expensive it was. 6" for $10, 10" for $16 and 14" for $35??? i'm sure there is a reason they have to price it that way, but i cap my spending on baits at about $25. |

Location: Oconto Falls, WI | I have wondered in the past how the 13" Grandma cast as well, so I am interested also in the 14" Jake. I would imagine it would be a bear to cast since the 10" Jake is no fun to cast INTO the wind. Perhaps I will have to make sure to cast downwind at all times! |

Location: Tomahawk, Wisconsin | From my experience a 10 incher is fine to cast, a 13 inch Grandma was a joke to cast, a 14 inch Jake would probably fall into the troll category, although if you spot that 55" fathead and toss that 14 inch Jake on top of em, you may just knock em out,............... |
