I know Bill Sandy and Frank from Walshes BayStore are top shelf guides - we are heading up to the NW Angle July 23 - 30 and if they are booked who else can you recommend?

If any of you hard core guys are going to be up there and might be interested in earnig some extra $ helping us get on fish, that would also be cool - thanks.

How about famed Dick Pearson who guides out of Walsh's Bay Store Camp? Or possibly Doug Johnson? Something to chew on.

A few big names in the biz have gotten in hot water for accepting cash while "guiding" in Canada. If you're from the states, you have to have a special permit to guide up there. Those mentioned are all good. Steve

Frank Walsh or Dick Pearson, or you can't go wrong with Doug Johnson or Bill Sandy either. All NW Angle located, but other top guides other areas of the lake as well. Let us know where you would like to fish!

I think I recently read that Pearson doesn't guide anymore. Might be too busy w/ designing baits, shooting videos, writing, etc. Don't quote me though.

Also, depending on where you go, Gord Pyzer (sp?) who frequents this board would be someone to look in to. His catches are beyond impressive and always seems to know what's going on. If he guided in the Sabaskong Area I'd book with him. Hopefully, he sees this and puts in his two cents.

Another gentleman that I catches some very nice fish and knows that water very well is Corey Toker. I'd look him up also.
Seems like a very nice guy and has put some serious fish in the boat also. If you can get Frank Walsh you wouldn't be sorry neither. He knows that body of water as good as anyone and puts some very nice fish in the boat every year. Plus, Frank is a hoot to have in the boat. Your sides will probably hurt at the end of the day from laughing so much. If you have a tough time booking anyone, and you're going to be near Oak Island stop by Baystore and we'll be there that week. I'd be willing to throw you a few bones to help you out.

catch ya later,
Krappie

No doubt, if you can land a date with any of the folks above, you should have a great day on the water, even if you don't tag a fish. If you can't have fun chasing Muskies with anyone of them- you've got a problem!

Have fun!
