At the show I got my first Muskie Inc. Membership ... Great deal ...... and I split every color of the smaller size swimbaits , by those Indiana guys, with a friend .... They look like large paddletails .... good deal 8 for 40$ ... I missed the weagles at the show but a guy at the swap afterwards Sat night had matching weagle / Wabull sets so I got a crappie pattern .... Was happy to get one fter they all sold out at the show. The Big Goomba gave me a great deal on a bunch of bucktails too ......... Oh yeah I finally found the Black Perch Depthraider I have been searching for!!!!!!!!

I only got two baits but they will both get heavy rotation !! I bought a willow leaf Cj's that is going to catch many fish next year, and a Van Halen 10" Jake that was painted by Todd C. that is beautiful to behold and will catch many fishes! I guess I just stick with what works for me, no new exotics, had a blast at the show, nice to meet and talk with alot of other musky fishers.

I left a few on the shelves.......really liked the show. The best part of it is still chattin' with all my muskie buds. There would be no ideal time family/social event/work-wise for the show for most folks I'd gander. Best to buy belated Christmas gifts @ the show as it is in my opinion.

I just had to get a Hughes River with a tail and I also picked up mt 3rd Diamondback rod. All total I think I got 15 new baits that I don't have a need for.

Aside from the Musky Innovations Pounders(bigger than a Mag Dawg) I can't wait to throw the Cowgirl and Showgirl from Musky Mayhem Tackle.A tinsel tied bucktail that looks absolutely alive in the water.Luke's King Kong Globe will get some biggies for sure in '05 as well. Steve

1 - DDD in the double top secret Dick Pearson Custom color
1 - Weagle

Cinci, money actually keeps that addiction at bay. The first thing I did when I got out of college was get a stock car. I borrowed a trailer and a tow vehicle. I did not even have a job. Racing just got to be too expensive and even the saturday night late models are out of reach for the average middle class living. It is amazing now how many car owners and hired drivers there are at the local short tracks now. Was never like that when I was a kid. If it were not, I would still be racing. Same thing with muscle cars. I could probably get one but have no room to keep it and any one I could afford would not be as sweet as I would want.
