Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | It's COLD out there, but the folks showed up in good numbers for day one. I spoke to dozens of friends, associates, and MuskieFIRST folks! Sue shops tomorrow, so there will be a list of items ad pictures from the great Sue's B Day muskie booth buy-out! ERC has a new bait, Slammer has some hot new colors, Bucher has the Big Joe. Weagles are nearly sold out. More to come later!

| Looks like a lot better show then what we had in Pittsburgh. How does the attendance compare? |

Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Hey Jim,
This is an established show that has been around for years. It's clearly the largest Muskie show out there right now, with Milwaukee a close second and Blaine near as big or as big as Milwaukee. I drove out to Pittsburgh to display, and will next year, too. If all goes well, that show could be just as large, it's up to the show promoters and the public. Of course, you could drive on out to Chicago next year and display your wares, I think the booth prices are about 1/3 more than in Pittsburgh, hotel is about $60 a night, and tolls to get here are about $30. Fuel is about $120 to get here pulling a tailer from out there. Or, you could help get the word out on the Three Rivers/Extreme show so it grows and is successful in the future and drive 40 miles. |

| I think there part of Bucher's new line up. They were at his booth. At first I thought they were Charlie Swim Baits, but maybe not. |

| Those are knock offs of the Charlie bait. they changed a few things to avoid being complete copies. They won't be available until May. The differences are that they have a round lexan lip, the hook hangers are different and the tail is flat instead of a paddle tail. Pricing is competitive with the Charlie baits. The Bucher colors are more in tune with "muskie" bait colors than the Charlies.
btw, Van Lieshout can sell combs to bald men - steer clear of that one. |
