| Anybody out there had any success on the St. Lawrence casting in and around stucture? It seems that it is notorious for being more "trolling water". All the guides up there to my knowledge use bigger boats, down riggers, etc. to troll exclusively for muskie. I know it is a deeper body of water but it has lots of classic structure on it (reefs, walls, weeds, etc.) I'd like to get any input on casting opportunities there. What areas could produce follows and potential strikes? 40 Acres, Black Ants, etc. What baits have produced on that water? I know late fall is the preferred time for guides and anglers but there has to be some action in August.
I'm not opposed to the occasional troll but am more of a fan of casting the majority of the time that I'm hunting.
Appreciate the input...
