I think it's a tie between a bucktail and a spinnerbait. This year was the year for the 'tail. Last year, spinnerbait hands down. Cranks and topwater see their fair share of action, too.

Nick,

As of right now I've caught most of my muskies on topwater lures. But keeping in mind I'm pretty new to this I learned at the end of the season just how good bucktails can be.

I would have to say it is top water. This is what I make and so this is what I fish with.

Raze, lmao!

My favorite casting bait is a glider/jerkbait but I have put way more fish in the boat trolling crankbaits so that got my vote.

It would be interesting to see this survey, "what lure have you caught the most fish on" right next to "what's your favorite lure to fish". Trolling for many species is hard to beat because of the amount of water a guy ends up covering by the end of the day but for many anglers it's probably low on the choice of tactics.

Wow. Tough to vote for just one. But...after thinking about it...it's gotta be the crankbaits...casting them and trolling them.

Caught the most on bucktails but cranks are a VERY close second.

For me bucktails and spinnerbaits catch the most fish, but I see more on topwaters, gliders, jerk baits, and twitch baits. Topwaters are my favorite to lures, but bucktails have a higher hooking percentage for sure!
