Looking to have a web site built. I had talked to one place and I felt that they were a little expensive.

Was wondering what the going price is one one and who can put one together?

Bill, I have a friend who owns her own company. I can get one of her techs to work with you.

Bill...It might be cheaper to just take my website..and remodel it into a Slammer site...Let me check into that for you.

I dont need it anymore.

Bill,
Have you checked out a price from Gary & Julie over at the Outdoor Network?

Bill:

Some of the best talent for web site design lies in the hands of youth. Consider calling the computer science department at your local college and asking if any of the students have an interest in building your website. They will probably get college credit for the project and you won't have to break the bank for bleading edge design/technology. Many of them will likely have some recent work they can show you to demonstrate their skills.

ps. They usually have a job board at the local college where you could post your opportunity.

Bill,

It's just like a catalog, you get what you pay for. Do you want you site to stand out and strengthen your "brand" or do want something from a cookie-cutter shop? Prices are hard to give advice on since the scope of work will determine what is needed to complete the job.

Good luck and shop around.

I have been on the Internet for 10 years and worked on the Internet for more than 7 years. And heard all the BS people shell out about web site developement, cost etc.. The best type of people you can hire to build you a web site are those that have two qualifications:

1. They have an experinced background in developing sites and can show you their work and resume.

2. The are also avid Muskie Fisherman.

Any Muskie related company can't go wrong with those two elements. If people love what they do they will do you right.

Bill,

Zach hit the nail on the head. You get what you pay for. Gary and Julie at Outdoor Network put mine together. They do great work!

The total cost depends on how elaborate you want to get with it.

Call me if you have any questions - 262-889-2058.

I too am with the outdoor network and I am the one who created my site but Julie sure did a great job cleaning it up for me.

Try and get a hold of Jeff Miller as he can help you with pricing and stuff.
