Mine are pretty simple.
Spend more time fishing Muskies with friends in 2005.
Spend TWO solid weeks on the Goon.
Catch more Muskies during League, Andy and Norm can't stay red-hot forever.

Your 2005 Muskie Resolutions for 2005?

Fish later

Mid Oct is to early to hang things up.
Get some gun locks and loose the keys until mid Nov.

Fish more.
Fish smarter.
Fish better.
Beat my personal best, which currently is a 48", with a 50+ incher.
Learn more of the lakes around me.
Bigger boat? Or bigger motor for current boat?
Catch more fish.
Keep fishing for other species of fish like I always do. Looking for a trophy Striper...

- beat my personal best
- put my friends on fish
- try to stay off the DL

Look for someone that wants to hire a 49 year old guy with a bad back
My wonderful employer figures that after 29 years of service, they owe me nothing but a boot.

I'm going to work real hard to make my 50" catches be one fish, and not consist of two fish added together!

Be more appreciative of all the blessings that God has given me, (and quit whining!)

To get my youngest son his first musky. He has had them hit and one to the boat but not in the net.

Get my oldest son, middle son, mom and my grandfather a bigger musky than they have already caught.

Fish with more people.

Fish some new places.

Have good weather on my family vacations. Would be nice if the wind dipped below 25mph and the temp got above 60.

Continue the success I have been having the past 3 seasons.

Fish more with my kids
Fish more with friends
Start the Guide business I've talked about for years. This year was a test, and I think I passed.
WIN a tournament.....Nobody asks who finished 2nd.
Treat every moment on the water like it may be my last.
Devote more time to youth projects and introducing new people to our wonderful sport.
Fund the above by selling 1000 baits.Do the math.
Encounter the She Beast in that little corner of LOTW again.Big fish.Real big fish.
Get back to the Goon.

Wow, Steve and I have nearly identical goals

1. Fish more with friends. There is nothing better than spending a day chasing muskies with good friends.

2. Learn a couple more lakes intimately this year.

3. Successfully defend our Rhinelander League title for the third year in a row!!!

Fish more w/ friends and family.
Get my son his first muskie.
Make it to an outing this summer (goes along w/ 'meet some of you folks').
Catch a true (pure, not tiger) muskie (well, maybe several...)

jettison the gear I don't need/use and get the 'right amount' of stuff I do need

introduce at least one more person to muskie fishing (and 2 more to fishing for other species; hehehe)
K.

oh yeah, and I want to be the western-most field rep for both Team Castor and Team Nut.

1. Take a few days off from guiding and fish Vermillion again in the late fall with friends

2.) Talk more clients into fishing slower and deeper

3.) get home from the post fishing cocktail hours before midnight- This may be difficult

4.Row troll with clients more often on the flowages with surface lures at night

1. Fish more, work less.
2. Go back up to the Winnipeg River and visit the monster fish we saw last year.
3. Proceed to catch said monster fish.
4. Learn White Bear Lake better, I'm getting there, but need time on the water.
5. Catch at least 30 fish.
6. Catch my first 50"er.
7. Catch my second 50"er...and so forth.
