Location: Somewhere on the water!!!!!!!! | I want to take my son for a week to MN. next year.
Where is a good place to stay (reasonable$$$$$$) and the best fishing (big fish).
I'm leaning towards Vermillion or Leech lake area.
Also what time of year do you think is best.
THANKS, |

| Vermilion, Mar Jo Motel in Tower
Mille Lacs, Red Door Motel right on the lake
I would hit both lakes if you can, that is what I did this year. Big V is much like LOTW if you like that type of fishing. Either lake gives you a good shot at numbers as well as trophies! |

Location: oswego, il | Vermillion definitley is a great place to fish and you can catch a bonus big pike and smallmouth to boot. It can get rough, I have seen 3-4fters on it but the two weeks I spent there had exceptionally bad weather. I would consider vermillion but I would definitley call cady too as he knows good places to fish. |

Location: Hastings, mn, 55033 | will you be bringing your own boat, or renting? if bringing your own, i would lean towards leech more than vermillion. there are many smaller lakes in that area that a guy can fish if the big water gets too rough. to the southeast a bit is the longville area with lakes like little boy, wabedo, inguadona etc. there really arent much for alternative musky lakes to fish in the vermillion area.
there are several resorts on leech, and hotels/motels in the town of walker. i usually stay at lakeview inn right across the street from the public access in walker. they have kitchenette rooms for a fair price. |

Location: Alexandria, MN | Ralph,
MN has some great lakes with awesome chances at both numbers and PIGS!
Leech and Cass both have smaller lakes around them, in case of rough weather,
Vermilion has a bunch of bays and islands that break things up.
I think you would have a great trip at any of the locations. Murph or Cady will sure
help on Leech or Cass, let me know if you decide to hit the V.
Good Luck!
