Location: nappanee IN | any ideas on what to use when the water is cold and baitfish are suspended? like 38 - 40 degrees
everybody is using fuzzy's but would tiger tubes worked as good or better?
thought maybe the color and slow drop would have helped but now it's too late maybe for this year.
thanks guys..karol |

| I like to use Bull Dawgs, Magnum Bull Dawgs, and Fuzzy Duzzits to target fish holding deeper. The Tiger Tube is worth a shot, but it is probably too light for that presentation. I also like Cobra Jig Heads with plastic bodies, and they aren't much heavier than Tiger Tubes so give it a try and see what you can do. |

Location: lansing, il | you can use just about anything that you want that you can get down to the depth that you are marking the fish at, and still work the lure effectivly!! i think the key to the fuzzy duzzits and the reason they work so good, is the fact that they have to set off a pretty wild vibration every time you rip it up. remember that in deeper water if its not clear the fish are reacting to sound and feel more than site!!! |

| One bait that I think is over looked and under utilized is the sinking depthraider. It is a great system with 2 of them, cast one out set the rod down, and cast the second one out and jig the first rod in. Keeps you very busy and you can cover a great amount of water! I have no liking in fishing a fuzzy so I looked for another way to work that type situation. A 1 1/4 oz. J-Mac with a 8" grub will catch a couple fish too! A lot easier then a tigertube |
