| I'm looking for the perfect crankbait for river fishing and need a bait that will 6'-10' deep, have a minnow profile ,thru wire construction, and good hook placement. Would like something in the 7"-8" size range. About everything I can find is either a deep diver[12' plus] or a shallow runner[0-4']. Need help please.

| Wire through construction narrows down the selection.The Legend Outcast is wired through and goes to about 12 feet tops with over 100 feet of powerbraid out.Shorten to about 60 feet of line out and you should be at the depth that you are looking for.You can take a look at a Legend Outcast in the Rollie & Helens Catalog. You need a Slammer deep diver then. Tough-tru wire and goes 10ft on a cast. Also backs out the timber and weeds with ease. 7" long with a lexon lip. Also is coming in 6" and 5" models in the sport shows this winter.

| These deep baits are great too, Cranes, windells muskie snacks, mirror lure(good luck finding one) and a mann's -8. These are in the size and depth range you are looking for too except the mann's is a 10" bait. |

| I concur on the Slammer Deep Divers. I have been using them
the last year plus, before they hit the stores and sport shows. They run true, have a tough finish, and look great in the water. It is easy to have PMA (positive muskie attitude) when you are using them! |

| mauser, I'll give my votes to the slammers, and the swimwhizz, two baits that are perfect for the smaller rivers. Also, with the swim whizz, you can use it as a whobbler topwater, I've caught fish that way. and great side to side action which is good for when the creeks get muddy. |

| If you want something bigger, an 8 or 10 inch believer is great. Something small that is great is a rapala j-13, or a super shad rap. Supershad rap and believer and unlimited to what you can do w/ them and the j-13 is just great, especially at high speeds. |
