The man upstairs was shining on my brother and I today. We hit one of our favorite watering holes and had some great success. Deron started the morning off with a nice 42, I followed 30 min later with a 47( my biggest fish to date), 20 min after that I loose a fish a little bigger than the 47 10 feet from the net. She gracefully head shaked and spat the lure back at me . Deron tags a 36, Then I set the hooks on a pig. A nice 49x23 now my biggest fish. She was a tank. Deron followed that up with a 35. All in all, the best day I could ask for, could have been a little better with the other upper 40 in the net, but no dice. Great day, been up since 2am, and still am glowing like an 18 year old after prom.

| Congrats. Wondering what the water temperature was down there and what you were moving them on. I assume that at this time of the year that you had to be working the baits pretty slow.

| Nice pigs! Congrats!
I'm curious too as to what the water temps are up there these days. The water on my pool cover is freezing over at night now... |

(5 seconds after hookups), I'm AMAZED fish didnt get to the boat like clockwork. Great way to make us all seem like CRAP for having to be in the office while you're out on the water. |

Knowing how hard you fish, I'm sure you earned every one of them.

Location: Plainfield IL | Thanks to everyone!!! This was truly a great day. Everybody gets their day to shine and I got lucky because mine was yesterday. As for some specifics. Water temp 39, air temp lo 29 hi 37. Fishing open water bait fish. Good luck to everyone that is heading out to fish, and I hope you all have a great day. Be safe and smart with the cold conditions. I am off to an Oracle conference in San Fran and would much rather be on the water. Hope she is not iced up when I get back.
