Location: Pound, WI | Does anyone know if Abu still makes this reel? If not, does anyone know how much one is worth and where to find one?
Thanks.

From my recollection that was a reel with red side plates and a little muskie either etched or glued on the side. They had one for Musky, Stripers, Pike, Etc. It was a C3 reel with different side plates for marketing purposes. I do not believe it has been manufactured for a few years. Possible Ron at Crazy D Tackle www.crazydtackle.com might have one. Unless there is a special reason you want that specific reel, a 6500-C3 has the same internal components.
I also believe there was a black reel with power handle that may have been marketed under the "Tournament Series" name. That reel was basically a 7000 series if I remember correctly.
If you find one my guess would be $60-$80 for the one with the red side plates and $125 or so for the 7000 series. |

I think you can still get them. 80-90 bucks. They're still available according to Abu's web page. |

Location: Pound, WI | I had 4 rods and reels stolen out of my boat. I'm trying to assess what I had for the insurance company.
Don't depend on the rod locker to keep your rods safe even if you are going to use them again soon.

Location: Pound, WI | The boat was parked behind my office in Pound at the time. The campers parked in there were also broken into.
I don't usually leave my rods in the boat, but I had planned to use it late last week before Wisconsin's season closed. My stupidity.

Sorry to hear that happened.
Geez, if you can't trust people in Pound who can you trust?? Guess there's no safe places anymore.
What's the coyote outlook up there this year??? I'm not planning on any trips this winter but if I do, I'll ring you up.

The coyotes look really good. Now is the time to hit them hard.
