Anybody try these yet? I think they're new for 05, but not sure. Made for high speed trolling with Muskie, Salmon and big trout in mind. No rear release, looks like the board is clipped or tied onto the line.

It is a good improvement over the yellow offshore board but it still will take longer to deal with over a mr walleye board..

I have yet to find a planer board that will handle muskie baits. Where am I going wrong? Bought some yellow ones from Thornes and they said they would handle muskie baits but they don't. Get pulled under. ?????

i can run big jakes off the big yellow bird planner boards, without a problem. ive tried the off shore and like the big yellow birds better plus you can add weight to the board if they run too high out of the water.

So far the nicest board I've used has been the Mr Walleye Board. The releases are very very easy to work. We'll see about this new one though.

No problems on the mr walleye and the 10" jake. I also pull depth raiders and the mann's magnums too. Not a problem. The fastest board to deal with when fighting a musky, bar none.
