Thursday 21-Oct-04 my buddy and I fished with Steve Vanassche of Bushwacker Charters. We we 4 for 6. The biggest was a 51" x38lb and the next largest was 50.5"x 37 lb. Both ofthese fish were released. We lost a 3rd big fish and caught a 20 lb class fish and a 12 lb fish. We fished the MI side of the lake with Steve near the Spillway. We fished in 8-11' of water and trolled about 4 mph.

Friday 22-OCt-04 my buddy and I went 6 for 8 without Bushwacker. The largest was 45"x 21 lb. and the rest were 36-39" and 11-13 lbs. We fished the Canadian side near the Belle River Hump in 8-10' of water. Water was 50 degrees and silty green in color. The best setup (3 fish) was a 10" Jake WB Perch on a board rod with 15' of line and 2oz of weight. We also caught fish on wash and down rods on 10" Believers. We caught fish on a straight Firetiger, straight WB Perch and a jointed walleye. Down rods were 15-20' with 6oz of weight and the prop rods were 10-20" with 8oz of weight. We trolled between 4 and 4.5 mph.

Satarday 23-Oct-04 we fished the Canadian side near the Thames River and the Belle River Hump and we got skunked After the 2 big girls on Thursday it didn't mater much.

I usually go to LSC 4 or 5 times a year. I run out of Deerbrook Marina and I monitor Channel 6 and my handel is Hillbilly. Take care and stay safe.
