| Anyone familiar with Ukko Jerk baits or Wobblers? Which one is more effective and in what colors? My friend saw some at a local tackle shop and I had no idea what they were. |

| Ukko's have a unique erratic action when used as a twitch/jerkbait, a lot of side to side action but I haven't caught a fish on them yet. |

| Ukko lure were originally built and designed in Finland. They have the wobbler crankbaits from 3cm to 60 cm (26") in length. The larger ones are used for fall trolling on big water. They also have the jerkbaits which have some wicked action.

| The jerk's are great in action but their durability is for sh!t. I think they are made out of balsa wood. Very nice paint jobs on them too. |

| I have a couple Ukkos--the wood seems to vary, but the paint flakes off on all of them like Jono shaking off dandruff. I had one bait with a bad spot on the wood that was soft, but otherwise the wood seems pretty hard (it was easy to examine the wood after all the finish came off. |

Location: N.W. Ontario | I use the 16 inch models and they work very well for open water trolling and caught many fish for me. They are not made for banging rocks, I learned this the hard way after making a couple passes and having my first one split all to hell. |

| Thanks guys. Are there any colors you guys could recommend? I fish mainly clear waters so I'm looking at the perch, whitefish, and black plague. |

Location: Kawarthas, Ontario | Be careful banging structure. Some of my buds have had lips break off or bend and snap because of the thin aluminum used in the lips. |

Location: Stevens Point, WI | EsoxTerra is right about not banging them on rocks. I have a Perch 8" Wobbler that has fantastic action but the bill on it was nearly demolished after a short time banging rocks. Awesome paint job too. |

| I just caught a small musky (6 pounds) last Sunday. First time I caugth one with this lure. The durability is indeed crap! The ring where you attach the line went though the head of the lure! I only got a 6 pounder!! I could not imagine loosing a 20, 30 pounder because of this! I am really disapointed by this lure because of its durability. It look nice but at the end, pretty bad for musky fishing.
