Steve,

Thanks again for the good time, very fun fishing with the other Steve and finally meeting Theedz too. On the way home I bagged a doe just north of Antigo on 45. I was slowing down for a doe standing in my lane and I saw another one in the opposite shoulder. I just missed the one in my lane and the other one bolted towards me and it actually ran into the side of the Tuffy and hit the solid metal foot step on the drivers side. I saw the whole thing happen in my side mirror and it did about three flips in the air and that was all she wrote. Fortunately there was no damage to the boat or trailer as far as I can tell, just a bunch of hair stuck to it. Definately a close call. I work next week, maybe the following week we can hit it again.

Dude it's good luck to hit a deer with your Tuffy...now take that hair and get a bucktail tied from it...

Glad to hear the Tuffy survived the doe attack. I'll be trying to hit the water a couple more times too before we ice up here, let's try to get a lure washed soon. It was a pleassure to meet Steve, too. I hope we can get out on the water soon when it ISN'T raining and blowing out of the East.

To answer your question archerynut.....it's already in the freezer, it helps to have a dad who is a butcher.

Steve,
Was great meeting you, get back up here soon so I can make those nasty Pelican Lake fish repay your hard work!

Will do, we will see how November unfolds and maybe I can make it back up before ice up!
