Because I've never seen fish stocked, I'd be interested to know when fish would be put into the lake system(s) so I could watch, take some pics and just see the little critters. Where would the fry or fingerlings come from?

We don't know exactly where they will come from yet, but we want to get the best(most ) bang for the buck.Permits have been acquired. The "farm" has to be DNR approved and be able to provide proper paperwork. Our thought has been to stock larger fish(18-24") for the best survival rate.We will work closely with the biologist for Waukesha County, Sue Beyler. In fact, she's the one who approved our tourney application.Very nice lady. Can't Wait!As hard water is fast approaching, we will stock this spring and will let everyone know the specifics. An early season get together. GMG,

I'm assuming they will be from Minnesota Muskies. Not sure if they will be bought and released this fall yet, or in spring.

Also, check with the Milw. Chapter of MI, meeting tonight BTW, if they did or are going to operate the rearing pond again this year. Eric and I helped seine the pond a couple times in the past, and then helped release them into Okauchee lake. It was interesting, and fun.
