Good info on the boat scum post. I’m a new boat owner and have the same problem. Two weeks in the water can build up allot of scum (good time to measure a boat’s draft). I have another problem too, how do you get the “stink” out of your live/bait wells? Thanks

Baking soda dude!Take some + scrub the inside w/ baking soda + 1 of my wet cousins(sponge). Let it sit in there awhile then rinse. If you are storing the boat for a long period of time tear the top off a 1lb. box and sit it in the well. Other uses: t-spoon mixed w/ water for upset stomach.... toothpaste....make a paste for bee stings...good for cleaning coolers also. DON''T use Dr. Scholls Odor Eaters as they are expensive + have not the scrubbing power of baking soda.... [:sun:]
* If the wife is going you probably won''t fish anyway; adda little English Leather or Hai Karate + REALLY liven up that well!

Hey SKEELUNKER thanks for the advice, we really have to get out a fish sometime. Next big graphite order or electrode work I need quoted, we’ll have to set up some “meetings” to work things out, the Chain maybe? [;)]
