Location: Ft. Wayne Indiana | The weighted Sledge WILL NOT suspend. It is barely different from the non-weighted ones.
They both back up and pop back fast! Great lure to run through the tops of the weeds!!! |

| Kid Ketchem is right on. The weighted models are faaar from neutral.Had some great experiences with them this year.Mikie(THE Mikie) adds more weight to his and they do hang a bit longer.I noticed the weight was added to the front hook,(bell sinker) and it still allowed the bait to "back up".Awesome.Thanks for the tip buddy!Another tool.A good tool. Location: oswego, il | The difference seems to a a lead bb in the body of the "weghted" one. I bought one to try out, they work great worked fast. The faster the better. |

Location: Athens, Ohio | You can either add a bell sinker to the front treble split ring using superline or crimp a big oblong sinker directly to the hook shank to turn an unweighted Sledge into a weighted one (helps it hang in The Zone a bit better). The beauty of these baits is they do pop up so any rocks, trees, stumps you bump into, they will back away from. I like the six inch model but my partner prefers the 9. So do the fish.
Just one hint, if someone offers you the opportunity to cast their Sledge to try it out, take more than one cast, right Dude? m |

Location: oswego, il | If you add a bell sinker like a 3/4 oz one to the rear hook, you have a jackpot that slashes the water with it's nose. Pretty neat. |
