Location: Eau Claire, WI | What a great day... Had Sluggo and his 10 year old son in the boat today. 20-30 mph winds, Snow, yes I said snow, rain. The kid stuck it out like a pro. After loosing a mid 30's right at the net he was heartbroken...But he got back in the saddle and about 90 minutes later a nice 38" to his credit.
Not sure who was more excited, Logan, Mike or me... It was pretty cool with two other boats looking on. There were cheers all around.
We came home from seven cold hours on the water to home made potato soup, meatloaf, and apple pie... My wife is a Godess... The boys are on their way back home now...Stay awake driving Sluggo...
Life is good.

Location: reedsburg wi | thanks to all. after two years of boatside losses missed hits and lots of lookers we finley kept one pined. we have to give our guide a big thank you for all his hard work to help make this one happen. sanks we might have to give him a new nickname after the fish swam off logan said oh no here comes that bunny thump thing again. then his leg starts shaking like a rabit on steroids. thumper might be his new nickname im thinking.
Mike, how about Thumper Dewrag..? hehe Mark |
