Location: Elkhart, IN		The story about the Snakehead got me to thinking about all the dogfish we used to catch in southern Michigan while livebait pike fishing. I've heard there are dogfish in Webster Lake, anybody ever caught one muskie fishing?

Location: Monee, Illinois		Yes I have caught some in Webster...Nice fighters usally on rattle traps and spinner baits....Especially in the Back Waters...

Location: Bloomington, MN		Here is a picture of my friend Bob with a Dogfish/Bowfin. I have caugth them up to 30.75" 8+ lbs. I'm shooting for the Minnesota state record of 12?? lbs.!! They're goofy looking fish aren't they, and so are the anglers that catch them!!!!!

Location: oswego, il		Clark, that is definitely a bowfin. The dogfish I have seen have big massive heads compared to that fish and a much thicker body. To me a dodfish looks like a pitbull version of a bowfin.

Might want to tell that guy that holding the fish like that can damage it. It should be supported and not held in a way that it could be dropped. Also he might consider a in the water release picture.

I've caught 2 pretty big bowfin out of webster this spring. one was about 6lbs and the other maybe 8 or so. Murdered my bucktail

Location: WI		I've caught quite a few on a Jackpot!! But I won't cast my Weagle out for them as they actually broke 2 of my Jackpots!!!! My biggest around 25-26"' weight around 7 lbs or so. Clark my goal has been to catch the Wisconsin record (31" 13lbs)....... But, I guess I'm going to have to pose with them now too!!!!
