The October 13th Fox River Valley Chapter of MI meeting at Poplar Creek C.C. in Hoffman Estates, IL will host Steve Pallo from the IDNR and IMA founder Ray Thompson. Steve will be handing out Muskie Status Reports and the latest info on Project Green Gene. Steve is an IDNR biologist and has been for over 30 years! He also serves on the Executive Committee of the IL Chapter of American Fisheries Society. Steve holds a Bachelors & Masters degree in Fisheries Biology from NW Missouri State. Ray Thompson is the co-founder of the IMA which started in 1982. He is also an MI life member joining in 1978. He was the Secretary and President of both he Chicagoland and Southside Muskie Hawks MI chapter. Ray is an author, seminar speaker and frequent guest on Outdoor Notebook radio & TV. He and Steve are current Central IL MI members.
Dinner will be available for $8.00/person before the meeting. Meeting admission is $3.00/person and is open to the public. You don't have to be an MI member to attend. Lot's of good IL muskie info will be exchanged at this meeting!!
