I am heading to the Chippewa Flowage the last weekend of the month. Can anyone give me some pointers on how to fish there? I appreciate any help available.

I haven't been back up there since the last week of June, but I do fish it in the fall enough to tell you that most year round patterns still work, namely bucktails, spinnerbaits, and top waters. As the weeds die off, I turn to jerks, gliders, and cranks over structure and remaining weed clumps. The fish will stay in the weed beds as long as they can, and then move to transition areas and deeper water structure. Classic points are always good, but original river beds are key in the fall. Don't forget to soak a sucker, that is always worth the trouble. So much water to cover, but I know the East and West sides pretty well. Let me know where you are staying and I can suggest some tactics.

Good luck, I may get one more weekend up there before it ices up!
