| Did you catch any at the Ceve today Dan? Was going to hook up with you but had to take kids to school and could not leave until 8 am so didn't try, hope we can match rides in October though.
Anybody wants to come down and fish out of my big blue boat, haul your tails down here last half of October. I am only working 1 day out of the last 18 or so. Will be happy to guide you on the OTHER TWO KY lakes if you have an urge. OR we can go to Cave and fish for the new KY record. |

Good to see you, and with fish, too! Those aren't the same shorts you wore on that chilly day at Cave Run, they look a lot more comfy at the beach, fer sure.
Mauser and I will be at the Cave next Sunday after I get me garage roof replaced. IT is so much easier casting with me wife offen me back. m |

| What is that #*^@ thing? A carp? I didn't know they had carp that far east. Doggone things get everywhere don't they. The dirty buggers! Heck you can go to Cave and fish for carp, they have a double godzillion of them, and in fact all the KY GREAT LAKES have nearly as many carp in them as penzoil containers on shore. If its carp you want, I can help you get em, I know where they live!!!!!!!!!!;-)
Er....it is a carp isn't it? Leaned close to the computer, and the picture kind of smelled like carp too.................. |

| Dude! You need to get outta KY...that would be the elusive redfish, drum, channel barse; a line stripping hard chargin' sea dog that'll make yer forearms swell. This one was fairly small at 38"; head S.E. sometime and we'll turn you onto some fish that'll test yer tackle as well as yer nerve! |

Good to see you.
I'd blacken that thing, but most of the folks up here would rig it on a quick-strike rig and drag it all over.
Enjoy yourself and catch all that you can.

| Sure do Dan! Let me know when you head down that way, and I'll fill you in on a couple of sloughs in that area that should hold some fish and the assorted tactics/gear etc...
Raze- let me know if you come down to visit; we lost 2 others in the wash that were humongo, they are starting to show up in #s and size from Ocracoke to the Point. Isabel changed the troughs to a degree, but new holes are producing a variety. Beav- slot on redfish are 18"-27", everything else goes back! The keepers are great blackened, as are ALL others. Will e-mail you later 'bout some stuff I'm selling...hope all catch some nice ones this fall>>>

Location: Athens, Ohio | FirstSixFt - I really do appreciate your generous offer. I've blown so much time off and gas money this year I've got one 'payback' trip planned to the Cave with Mauser this weekend and then I need to hunker down at home for a while. Payback? you ask? Paying him back for helping me with my garage roof this weekend is one way, but it will be a real payback for all those CaveFish who have eluded us to date! thanks so much, m
RAZE - awesome fish! Glad you didn't use split rings as toe rings while landing it. m |
