Well I just want to say that I had a great time this weekend and Monday. I fished Webster on Saturday and Sunday and Barbee chain on Monday. My Sister Janice caught her first musky ever. 20 casts into her musky career. She thought how easy is this....Well Janice and my chicky Nadine left on Sunday afternoon and Janice only had 3 follows the rest of the time. Welcome to musky fishing Janice......I got to meet Kevin and Bukes, Also met Todd M and his parter (Todd what was his name). So great musky first guys. Also chated with Kent for a while on the lake. I did not boat a fish, the two days at Webster 16 follows and two blow ups. Most of the fish where big "targeted bigger fish deeper water". Went to barbee on Monday and had 4 follow and one fish missed my glide bait then I threw it back and he try to slam it on the 8 but could not get the hook set "Nice fish Mid 40's" Saw one on Seacrest and the rest on Irish. Ii will be back up Thursday-Tuesday Columbus day weekend make sure you stop by and say hi.

Good Luck all,

pgaschulz AKA SS Bob

Bob it was good too meet you too as well as Kevin and dutchy. Was that your sister with the blonde hait casting like a madwoman in the back ot the boat? She sure looked like she had the musky bug. My partner, the one with the sh*&%%^ bass boat, his name is mike. I got a small fish but we seen 31 others, some were over 40 but most seemed to be about 34-38".

That bait you asked me about is called an x-glide. I was throwing the magnum size and I moved a ton of fish with it. Roger is the guy who makes the baits and he is a wood diva. His baits are wild and they work awesome. I caught fish out there on da rat too.
Here is his website:

Your sister and girlfriend would like the small x-glide. It is the easiest glider to work, the design of the bait will turn it 90 dgrees every time without fail.

Bob, who the flock is Dutchy? That was me in Kevin's boat. Anyway, I guess it could have been worse. Bob that had to have been your sister working that bait like a mad woman, good to see. Nice to meet you and you too Todd.

P.S. I don't own an Xglide but, I do have multiple Nitros. I love throwing them, was using a chart and black dot Sun.

well sounds like all you had fun on webster, cool i wished i could have met some of u. i talked to kevin that day. i finally got out that evening on barbee and my 10 year old daughter had a huge fish blowup on her topwater and she was so scared that she screamed and would not cast it out again till we moved.. it was so funny u just had to be there. she was so scarred that when i told her to cast it back out she was begging me not to make her. but my son was trying to take the rod from her and throw it back himself and he is 7. neither has ever cought one but he has had a few follows and he watches me and learns from me everytime we go out.. anyway i hope to meet u pga i already have seen todd and chatted with him online and i always hangout with kevin. look for me i drive a older blue bass boat with a johnson gt150 on it.. i am looking to buy a used 1850 tournament when the people selling it get there act together so we can do a deal anyway catch u later...bill

Kevin, that looks about the size of the onje I caught. PGA, next time we all have to get together to eat lunch and shoot the bull. I just wish we could have gotten a few of the nicer ones we seen to bite. It was my partners best day for follows, he was pretty excited about what he seen. He missed one on his reef hawg so we almost had two fish.
