I was wondering if any one had a tips for fall musky fishing in rivers. I typically fish from shore but do have access to a boat from time to time. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks

late fall I focus on fishing the deep breaklines, that's where I've found the big girls.

Any warm water discharges will hold baitfish, and big toothy critters, too!

Depending on the kind of river we are talking about I could probably help u out some.... If the river is located in illinois or southern wisconsin the best time to fish it is probably the winter but in the fall I use the same pattern since i also fish from shore most of the time I try to find any kind of holes in the summer when i do my wading and that way know where to fish during fall and winter......Shoot me an e-mail with any questions and ill try to help u out more...my e-mail is [email protected]
