Are we looking at a warm fall??

Water temps on my lakes are warmer now than they were at the begining part of july. What does this all mean for fishing do you guys think? I am just curious to see what you guys think about this.

Nope....the reason why the temps seemed like they went up so high for the past few weeks was because they were so low to begin with! With this new cold snap and ahighs up north in the low 50's, get ready for turnover.

Highs up north this weekend are going to be near 70 and lows of 50(Vilas County) This is unusual for this time of year.

See the long term forecast for next week...Hi's in the low 60's. Right now for Land O lakes, we're looking at a high of 72 for Sunday.....not too bad, gotta figure with lows in the upper 40's low 50's, water temps are coming down.

GMG has it right. I really think we could get an early fall and the season might be over before it actually closes. Water temps on vermillion was 61 degrees the third week of august. Temps in mercer over labor day were 65. Not been a typical year up there, the water temps down here never made it over 80 much at all and not much above that when it did and only for a day or two.
