How did the outing go? I couldn't make it because of work and many other issues, darn it! Did the box I shipped get picked up? Were there any pictures taken? How many fish were caught? Any details?

We had a great week, ended up with 21 muskies in my boat, with lots of bonus pike as well. My partner Larry managed to catch his 1st -11th muskie on this trip. We were seeing on most days 20+ follows, the hot baits in our boat were a fire tiger spinner bait, top raider, and a weagle. My biggest fish of the trip was a 43-44incher. We had a few other mid 40+ fish going but they wouldn't eat. The folks at Sabaskong Bay Lodge were great, I'd highly recomend then to anybody, I'll definately be back next year.

Dave, I had the same trouble with the funky wal mart program they used to put my film onto the disc. I got that figured out on downsizing the KB, but what inch sizing is best? Those shots I posted last night of my 40 with Koepp were way too BIG. Any suggestions are welcome.

Steve, the outing was awesome to the max. Will you start a photo album page for us? I will work up a narrative this week for your reading pleasure. mm

Depending on the resolution of the camera will determine how big the pic is when you resize it. I have found that for the photo album, about 80 to 100K gives good results. Do you have a program that will let you specify a size for a folder full of pics, or do you have to do it singley. My Kodak EasyShare software lets me save the files as "Best for Web", and sizes them to arround 50K.

How many pics do you have? If you want, send me a few, or all, and I could work with them for you.

I think there is a 'best for web' setting, I'll try that. I shot up 3 rolls so I won't put you though all that. Since I returned every time I sat down at the puter I fell asleep (my usual reaction to active thought). thanks, m

Is there any info on the Sab. Outing?? Last year, I think the whole camp caught 149 fish.

How many did you catch this year?? What were the biggies??

Hi Steve,
We estimated 100 muskies. Steve Jonesi got 3 big fish: 51.5, 49 and 48. And Matt "The Dude" got a 49. Their's was the boat to be on, and they obliged by bringing several guys out, and put them all on fish. Mauser for sure won't forget the day out on Jonesi's boat.

Sorry I don't know more about size ranges of the others. For my boat I had the biggest which was a fat 44, first fish I got. Our boat seemed to start out hot, and get less lucky later in the week.
Later,
