has MF changed again? I get these tiny letters. The previous forum was better.

Me too the last version was much easier to read.

I got a weird feeling someone who is in power here is an Optomitrist(?) or has a family memeber who is one....we will not pursue a lawsuit if you change it back by 4:00p.m. E.S.T![:0]
* also missing is that "manly" dark bold print...we have now entered a "minty fresh" look...I'm torn between 2 choices, feeling like a fool! (no comments...I ALREADY know the response!) + I thought this would be a traditional Christmas......[:blackeye:]

What small type are you referring to? On the buttons at the top? Otherwise the majority of the text is the same size. That can be changed. Anything else...like the color of the text? That too can be changed. Let me know and I can do it.

Nothing as far as passwords, registrations posts etc has changed from the last version. You do not need to re-register, all the info is there

Performance-wise this one is much faster, it allows file uploads, allows you to retrieve lost passwords, and some other things.

Give me a week to tweak the look and the fonts.

the text size is too small to be able to read it well. Also for the icons.

You mean the message text? The message text it's the same size it was before. The button text size is smaller however.

Thanks,

I still think the message text has shrunk. I'm not the only one who has more trouble reading it. Perhaps go up one size?

Same for the small icons.

I'll start by giving the text more contrast and see if that helps. I'll make some of these changes tonight, let me know if they help.

It looks smaller to me Maybe it's an optical illusion, just like that 48 incher that follows on an 8 but when you get in the boat it's only 42

See ya at the shows

The font seems the same size to me!BUT on my puter the site itself seems even faster,WOW! One question I have is when replying to a post can you view the previous posts in that same thread? Looks good to me! Jeff []

perhaps when you change the size of the icons to the size of the text, it will read more fluent?

Handyman,

Believe it- it is much faster in it's processing than the old board. Even with a million posts in this forum you will not notice a lag.

The search functions work very well also, but will need to alter the output somewhat.

Zach, thank you for changing it! Just adding my 2 cents here. It's been a big improvement since you updated it to the new server. Now we don't have to wait a day or two to see if someone replied. A splitsecond is enough! [:sun:]

Thanks. We want your input so continue to speak up please. Sometimes what we think someone wants is the exact opposite of they do want.

Zach tried to get the server programmed not to pitch you out, Sponger, but the darn thing has a mind of it's own, and he had to dicipline the thing by horsewhipping it... You should be fine, now.
