| Took my wife and Daughter out for a few hours today. I started trolling but the fish had moved shallow so switched to casting. I picked this 40.5" up on the same bait I got the 36 with yesterday. Even my wife thought it was a beautiful fish!!!??? I was shocked..She now thinks we might need a new boat in the next year or so!!!??? I need to take her fishing more often:) ... My daughter LOVED the fish..wanted to take it home and build a pond for it and name it "Spot" Its not my biggest fish so far but is now my favorite!!

| Hey Mike..I think she may be the next Libby. I even think my wife could get interested in fishing. I may have to wait until she has the baby..her belly is getting in the way of my St. Croix's :).. Oh..and we are having another little girl..I also used the toys in the livewell trick..and it worked GREAT!! Thanks Boro!!

| Funny you should ask about names. My wife called me today to ask if I had thought of a name and I told her Barbee :).. She thought I said Barbie so I let it go for now :)..I had Lake picked out for a boys name, and she thought I couldnt think of strange names for a girl. |

Kids and fishing is what it's all about, and if you can enjoy both at the same time , it's all the better.
