Location: Waukesha, WI. | I was at Al's house the next day when this articles notes were taken. Al tried for 30-40 minutes to revive this fish, it just wouldn't revive. Al is a good musky guy and hasn't keeped a fish for over 20 years or more. Al felt bad, but couldn't let this fish go to the turtles. |

| What an odd looking fish. One must wonder how many muskie lures that fish hit and couldn't get them in her face.. |

Location: oswego, il | This seems to be a somewhat common occurance for hybrid muskies. The bass pro tank has a couple hybrids with the same upper jaw deformation. Maybe they should do a "nip and tuck" episode on a few of them. |

Location: Algonquin, ILL | I wonder if that's a result of a really bad unhooking job early in it's life

| I was thinking more on the order of a genetic defect of some sort. Thing looks almost like a dolphin. If you look at the front of the head between the eyes and the upper jaw, the deformation runs that far back. I would think a bad unhook job would be more just the upper jaw.

E - I have no prob with the keeping of it. Only posted that because I figured someone would comment about it anyway.

| Caught a 42" regular ski on LOTWs last year with the same nose. Really funny looking, but if it was due to an injury it had healed extremely well. I assume the deformity is uncommon, but others had seen the same thing when I shared a pic.
