What, no heated pool? How will you stand it?
Enjoy your trip, Tom, see you on the island for some real good fishing. m

Just for your Information, last week was the Muskie Inc., Challenge. Fargo chapter won it. My chapter that won last year Southside Muskie Hawks came in third. In practice a kid got a 55 incher. During the tournament I am not sure if it was the winning chapter but one boat got 53, 51 and 50. Alot of fish came on Bobbie Baits, Suicks and Buchtails. Rocks were the key for my chapter, weeds were slow. Hope this helps alittle, Al

Musky Alan the boat that caught all those fish also boated a 54 1/2 the first day. The team was First Wisconsin. I also belong to the South Side Muskie Hawks and was on the winning team last year.

I was up there last week too vacationing. I was a little put off by how some of the boats in the Musky Inc tourney cut us off and flew to the points and casted the crap out of them just as we were coming up on them. It wasn't like we were way off in the distance but casting the shoreline next to the point. I don't know if in competion as long as you are 3 boat lengths it's OK but I thought it was a pretty bush league move. I also noticed that boat ettiquette was pretty much none existent. It made my partner and I feel good when one of these morons comes flying up to an island we were fishing only to see us releasing a nice 43. The idiot then throws the throttle down and goes around to the other side. I'm done venting.
We experienced alot of the same early in the week it was bucktails but as the week sped by much to quickly it turned to bobbies, cranes, and spinner baits. The evening bite was a topwater affair. Have a great time.
