Location: Ft. Wayne Indiana | Recently I have had a lot of good fortune and I just wanted to say thanks to a few people that have really helped me along. Without these people helping me, and pushing me to be the best that I can, I wouldn't be heading in the right direction.
First of all, my PMTT partner and my long time fishing friend, Tony Grant. Without a doubt he is the #1 reason I am where I am today. He has taught me so much, introduced me to many people in this business and has helped me live the dream. He has been simply awesome and I am glad me and him have become such good friends.
And the best of last, Steve Cady. My long lost brother. This year we have worked hard together at sport shows, during the PMTT events, talked 10,000 times and spend some great time on the water together. He has been there for me pushing me, giving me advice, and telling me to don't worry about all the crap, just go out there and do what you do best, and that is fishing. He is a awesome friend and is quite luckly to live where he does. His knowledge of Minnesota musky waters is up there with the best of them. He has kept quiet for a long time, but I have a feeling that he is going to be one of the hardest guys to book very very soon.
If any of you are considering a fall trophy hunt, I would put some VERY SERIOUS consideration in talking with Mr. Cady, I have seen it first hand what you can do up there if you are with him. 3 over 50 in 9 days, and we simply lost count of how many other 30 pounders we had to the boat. Thanks Steve, I really appreciate all you have done, but when you are super busy with clients, don't forget about your buddy Kid Catchem here in Indiana, hopefully you will leave some boat room for me!

Location: Athens, Ohio | Michael, I second the thanks, both to Tony - my inspiration in keeping with muskie fishing when common sense says I should-a quit - and to Cady for teachhing me how much fun fishing can be! I also want to thank you for guiding us on Cave Run. And, to the wonderful folks here at MuskieFirst for all their help and support. I'm up to 8 muskies now and Canada is less than three weeks away! m

Only fished with you once but that 1 time was enough to see that you ARE one hell of a fisherman. You showed me that If you put enough time throwing a jerkbait( Mikies wild colored Bobbie Bait, I think you called that color Herpies) , the fish will come. I'd call myself lucky to share the boat with you again and look foward to the day when we can hit the "Cave" again and watch you put another couple of fish in the boat. All praise is given to those who earn it and brother you do.
Way to go on another great year,
