| Just back from the Northern Wisconsin Oddessey and after a few days to ponder, I came to a conclusion about Northern Wisconsin in regards to the muskie fishing. There are a ton of fish and more big fish. Some of the old traditions are still there, but the conservation efforts are showing fruit.Other states have done a fantastic job developing fisheries.Wisconsin is on the right track and all the stocking done 10 years ago is paying dividends. It still takes a while to grow 'em big.The Musky Dr.(my brother) called last night to tell me of a legit 50 he had up in the same spot a friend released a 50 last year.Same fish?I don't know but a 50 is a 50, recycled or not.Lots of good things going on in Wisconsin, but I will ALWAYS be a Bear Fan!
