I was (fruitlessly) ripping a Shallow Invader on Tuesday night on Tonka, when my new custom Diamondback snapped just a couple feet above the handle. Boy was I heartbroken. Had to call it a night, couldn't even fish anymore I was so distressed. Well, brought my shattered stick and broken heart into Thorne's today, and as usual they stepped up. I was fully expecting to hear "WHAT THE HELL DID YOU DO TO IT??!?!?". Instead, Bill assured me he would rebuild it, free of charge, and not only that, but he could turn it around in about two weeks. He figured it was just a faulty blank, and chalked it up as one of the risks of producing high-modulus graphite rods. I've been having a run of bad luck w/ companies standing behind their products lately... let's just say this restored a little faith.

And btw, double props to Thorne's for tracking down some 100lb Stealth for me. I don't even want to know what they went through to find it, because I had searched high and low for weeks and was pretty sure it didn't even exist. But they delivered.

No, I don't work at Thorne Brothers... I just think companies who make unusually high levels of service a not so unusual thing deserve to be recognized.

I would agree completely!!

I have other choices, Sportsman Warehouse and Gander Mountain in the area, but I still go to
Thorne Bros. for all of my Muskie needs. They know the products and the intended target. They use
everything and give you an honest opinion of what's good or bad. They have a huge selection of everything
you would need. They are Muskie guys and not just a store selling Muskie tackle.

If you are in the area at all, they are the place to go.

Thanks!

That's one good reason to get your rods at TB. They are building me a new trolling rod for this fall.
