Who is participating? I'll be there and it will be my first one, so it will be an interesting experience. Hope to meet some of you there.

Here's the reasons why you're going to get whooped like a redheaded stepchild.

1) I never fished the Man Chain
2) My partner never fished the Man Chain
3) Between the both of us we have 1 WMT going into it.
4) HERE's THE MAIN REASON WE'RE GOING TO WIN........My partner has never boated a legal yet!

Add up all that newbie crap and we're gold.....not only for the win, but probally for the 50" money as well!

Who's gonna be a winner???

All I can say is that you guys are lucky that Tuffdaddy is not fishing this event. You would all be toast. LOL
I felt like it was only fair that I sit this one out.
(actually, I had the choice of fishing this or some of the IMTTs according to the BOSS)

Good luck to all!!!! If anyone needs some secret spots on the Chain, PM me, and for a case of fermented bevereges, I may divulge a spot or 2. heh heh heh

I'm gonna head over to the Man next saturday for some education....(like knowing where the launches are). If anybody is going to be up next weekend and is looking to soak a line, I'll have an open spot in the rig.

I have no grand delusions of winning this because I will be fishing with the kiss-of-death - my brother-in-law. He has yet to boat a musky, legal or otherwise! We'll be pre-fishing a couple days prior, so I hope to pop his cherry before the tournament begins.

Look forward to putting a face with a name Tuffy and Gander.

Gander - how would you feel if I won the tournament with a Gander Mt. lure I bought with the $10?

DP...if you won it with the 10.00 I gave you..I'd expect 1000.00 in return!

NEVER BOATED A FISH????.......I'm doomed....that will win it. Maybe I'll get Rick Hess's partner from the first Iron Man to fish with me.....that guy was wearing a horse shoe in his undies.

I'll be there as well with my bro Krappie. Heck with the year he is having, I think I'm doomed! At least he makes a good net and camera man! Good luck to all that will be there. The Chain is nice place for those who haven't been there before. Lots of different stuff to fish.

Gander, why must you keep sucking me into commenting on these #*^@ posts.

I agree ''Cocamo'' Joe Perry was the luckiest man around that day. He had the finest ugly stick a man could buy, best 20/lb mono, best bait a man could buy on e-bay for a buck.

The fact is he won. Lets not discount the 39'' fish he caught the day before the tournament. You may call it luck. I say it was his guide, hahaha.

Take warning he is coming back to maintain his crown on September 11th for the Ironman on Okauchee.

I am counting on him to produce the next winner due to a minor flu I will have from the night before at the hideaway.

As it turns out, I may not be able to leave until Friday to go to Manitowish. My partner will be heading up Thursday night and I'm looking for a ride on Friday so we don't have two vehicles up there and both have to drive home. If anybody is leaving sometime Friday and has room in their vehicle, please let me know.
Also, if anyone needs a place to stay, we have plenty of room in our cabin, on a lake, a short drive from the chain.

Thanks

Just a reminder, if you're considering fishing the WMT this weekend, my place about 15 Minutes NE of Boulder Jnctn is open as well, The money you'd save in lodging will be close to paying for the tourny!
