| Been off the water for 3 days and now am ready to get after it again! The 8 days prior were spent with Team Musky Nut member Mike Hulbert. Mike is a Musky guide in Indiana and got his first chance at the areas waters. I don't think he could have timed it better! We decided early on to chase big fish as we were filming with a digital video camera as well. I decided to start us off on a few of the smaller lakes near Cass and we'd move on and out from their. Well except for one day we never left. All said Mike saw 4 different lakes. The reason is we decided to hit spots that had produced for me in the past and not leave them until the fish ate. I'm extremely happy that they did eat and included 3 over 50" Mike got a 52x20" a 50X21" and I couldn't let him get them all when I scored a 51x23" hawg! This fish hit with the most explosive strike I or Mike has ever seen! All three 50's were caught on top water as well. We'd move fish on twitch baits as well as jekbaits during the day but as nightfall approached we switched to top water and got the right ones to go! We had chances at others including one that seemed to dwarf the others and was definetly a "Super fish"! That's why we keep comin back! We also had a 47" a 44" and numerous "short fish" with those small white spotted ones as well. (Don't worry Mike the spots will get dark when they get older)
Thanks again to Mike Hulbert for coming up and filming and showing me how to move big fish by going 124 mph!!!
Now it's Cass Time! As I will be focusing on finding that big Albino girl. Shhhhhhhh!

| Your post really got me going. Was in your area from the 22 thru the 25. Got two (not near what you had) lost a nice one. I can't take it any more, told my boss I'm out here till next week. Going to try some smaller lakes as you suggested.
