I will be up north fishing this lake the 2nd week in September. Does anyone know what baits and colors are working, how the water level is? Any other info that might help in planning what to take and use in search of the mighty musky? We usually fish in water between 5-15ft. Mepps brown/natural bucktails seem to work the best in the past. There are usually a lot of weeds to contend with so I'm looking for baits that don't get caught up to easily or can be ran across the surface. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Matt

I also fish in Ontario. Topraiders, Single hooked or tandem single hooked spinnerbaits or bucktails, and mepps are always a good choice but the tops of the weeds have to be an inch or two below the surface for these to be effective.
