| My wife wants me to take her camping on the weekend of Aug 20-22. I have talked her into camping near a muskie lake so now I am trying to decide where. Was thinking Leech or Mille Lacs. I have never fished Leech before so I would like to give it a try, but I dont want to be out there fishing brand new water when my time may be limited due to the wife being along.
Anybody have any info that can sway my decision one way or another (is one or the other usually hot this time of year)? Also any tips on a nice campground would be appreciated.

| Vermilion, here's why: it's beautiful up there, big muskies, quieter than Mille Lacs or Leech, big muskies, lots of stuff to do if your wife doesn't fish as much as you, big muskies, you can be by yourself, fun lake to explore, friendly people, stiff drinks and big muskies. Plus,when you're camping you can camp in real woods not in some prairie. Have fun Baldy | |
