Location: Minnetonka , MN.
Just got back from the Winnipeg River. Got 5 fish 40" or over. The largest was 51.5 Had a great time but my ribs are sore from pulling in all them fish

 Nice!!! I fish the Winnie quite a bit, looks like you had fun. I think I can tell where you are on the first pic. Just may be where we got a few fish over the years, comparing photos.  Was the water high?  Did you find fish in the weeds?

Saw a lot of fish in the weeds but I think they were moveing to rocks. In the group we got 2 fish over 50"
The water was maybe a foot Hi . Mike Pinheiro of North Star Village came out and helped me and took the Pic. He also is a guide could't find a better one.

Great job!!! Heading up on Thursday for a week! For those two fish pictured, my guess is you used about a pint of fuel from either Bayview or Northstar, Did you fish Gun lake or Big Stretch at all? Fished up there for the opener and landed 2 44" and 1 42" and had a ton of follows, lost a few fish and had a mid 40 bite my trolling motor prop, I know it sounds like B.S. but some of the locals who live there have had it happen to them. Are we using baits that are too small!!??!! Again congrats on some nice fish!
