Yup, it is, indeed, my birthday. Thanks for remembering, Joel. Unfortunately, I am stuck at work today. Ha, 21! Right, John. I like to say I'm old enough to know better, but too young to care!

Yesterday, just to prove I wasn't THAT old, I pitched batting practice to Eric and his Little League All-Star teammates. I must have pitched 10 innings worth. I can still bring it, when I want to. Took it easy on most of them, but did throw 3 right past Eric once! hehehe A couple players challenged me, so I turned up the wick to them too. I figure I'm about 15 MPH slower than in my prime. Well, OK, maybe 20. But I bet a few were in the 70's. I figured the arm would be sore today, but surprisingly, the only thing that hurts is my right knee.

Must be a great day to be born. My dad's birthday is today as well. Ice that knee Shep, and stop picking on the kids. They may get you back. heh heh heh (can you outrun them still?)

Happy Birthday, you old reprobait!! Too old to remember what's socially acceptable and what's not, but too young for that to be expected, maybe...

Belated Happy Birthday!

The other day I overheard an older lady say, "Yes, today is my birthday. I don't count 'em anymore, I just enjoy them."
