Location: N.W. Ontario | Hi all,
One of the muskies I caught yesterday at LOTW was looking pretty beat up. Sores, white blotches, shredded fins and tail, chunks missing out of it's upper jaw and gill plate. It's skin almost looked like it was rotting, anyone know what may be wrong with this fish? Thanks!

| My guess is a rough spawn but I am just guessing. Nice video though for those of us chained to a desk today. |

| Looks like a prop hit the fish, Maybe the fish was caught not to long ago(that might explain the head damage) and than released and was hit by a prop while the fish was still reviving from the CPR
Check out these fish; http://muskie.outdoorsfirst.com/board/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=15...
Looks alot like the one you caught.

Location: N.W. Ontario | Geezus! That fish with the hole was incredible and sad. I can't believe it hit a bait!! So if it was a prop hit, what then were these circular white patches on my fish? Is it similiar to a scab? or is it's immune system so weak that some kind of disease has set in? |

Location: Anprior Ontario, Canada | Any fast flowing rivers the fish could go into? I know around here muskies will feed heavily in rivers in the spring. Ive seen fish damaged much worse in some of these rivers were there is 0 boat traffic. |
