Location: Waukesha & Land O Lakes, WI | After a couple of fish chewed the hell out of my new Power Probe, the finish on the bottom has completely cracked and peeled away, now exposing the wood, filler and weights.
Does anybody have the number or email address for Power Probe.
If anybody has any ideas about repair, shoot away. |

Location: Northwest Chicago Burbs | Or in Treat's case, just use your own nail polish stuff. One idea most dont use: try clear jig paint sealer. It's sold at a lot of local bait shops, is easily painted on (will ruin the brush though) and creates a pretty strong coating at a minimum of expense and fuss. |

| You can repair the bait with Devcon Two Ton epoxy...make sure you get the "two ton, not the 5 minute version. You can obtain the glue at Wal-Mart for 3 dollars. Mix the epoxy in a small container, like a dixie cup. Make sure you mix all the edges and center otherwise you will have areas where the glue won't cure. Stir for about a minute or so, you will see the glue get cloudy and then get clear again, keep stirring a bit longer. Stir slowly too or you will fill the glue with bubbles, won't hurt the bait but it will effect the quality of the finish. Now paint the stuff on with a small soft bristle brush, about a 1/4 or 1/2 inch size. Put it on fairly thick, if you see small craters you need more glue. Once you get it all covered, you will need to rotate it by hand for about 15 minutes at which point it will become "tacky". Set it aside and it will be dry in 6 hours.
