| Just tried several times to log into the chat room with my username. It opens up two windows, one on top of the other, and both show different names. The bottom one always shows theedz155 and the top one shows theedz1552167 or 2168 or some other number. The computer screen locks up then and it won''t complete the login to where the chat room screen starts. I can exit out and still go to other pages on the site so it''s apparently not my connection.
I''m new to this chat stuff and don''t want to get lost once the words start flying. Am I doing something wrong here???

| Please let me know what browser version you are using (ex IE5.5) and you operating system (ex Win2000Pro or Win 98)

Still running Windows 95. I can't find anything that tells me what version my IE is though.

| Zach I operate off windows NT,when I log in the screen is very faint compared to the header.I could see that you were in the room but I could not do anything.ANY IDEAS?[:((] |

| Had the same problem that theedz155 had last night when I first tried logging on. I locked up also, but restarted "Internet Explorer 5"/ Macintosh version and I was able to login without a hitch.
Love the chat site and have to give you an "Adda Boy" for a quick, responsive and relatively trouble free chat client. Looks like this winter should be a pretty good one for sharing the B.S.

| Zach, I was able to log into the chat room with no problems this time. Don't ask me what I was doing wrong last time. I shut down the computer and started from scratch and there I was... gone.
Anyway, jeff b, I have the same problem. When I go into the chat room it takes a long time for it to come up. I'll be in the chat window but it takes probably 3 minutes for the my computer to get into the actual chat session. I did hit the emotions button on the bottom of the screen and the chat session started right after that. Probably doesn't have anyting to do with it but if you wait a while and nothing happens, might want to hit the emotions button.
I'll try again at 8 tonight and see if I can still get into the session.
