I find myself really likeing the action of the Bull Dawgs. However I only have the shallow type and have never thrown the regular style. I am going bait shopping this weekend and am planning on picking up another "dawg", any recomedations on which style and color? I primarily fish stained water.

Thanks

My vote is the 9" walleye. If the water blooms perhaps a louder color.

i like the silver with metalflake one, other than that you cant go wrong with blk/org, cisco, or walleye like todd said. if you get the weighted ones you can really move them fast and get really nice snappy twitching action out of them. i prefer the magnums over the regular size. i probablly throw dawgs 50% of the time and all the rest of my lures the other 50.

Nothing compares to the action on a 14 inch dawg. Caught more fish on this size than any other. Sunny conditions go with a walleye pattern, and in overcast I like the perch or black and orange.

I like the 9" bulldawg regular in cisco for clear waters. It's the only one I've caught on so far

9 inch Motor oil/org. tail is good in clear or stained water, sunny or cloudy. 12 inch is hard to cast on regular equipment.
