Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | My Dad brought the Reaper north about 30 years ago when Harold Ensley was having touble selling them to the bass guys. He, Jim Cairnes, and Tony Portincaso designed several new jigs to work the reaper, and Larry latino eventually went to work for the company that developed the Reaper to what you see now.
Use a 1/4 to 3/8 oz standup jig, and superglue the reaper to the head. Cast it out, let it sink to the bottom, point the rod at the lure and reel very fast three times. Wait for the line to go slack, repeat. |
